The Most Popular Medigap Plans, Simplified

While there are many options, most new enrollees find their perfect fit with one of these three plans. We'll help you decide which is right for you.

Plan G

Most Popular

The go-to for comprehensive coverage. It pays for virtually everything Original Medicare doesn't, except for one small, annual deductible (the Part B deductible).

Plan N

Best Value

Offers lower monthly premiums in exchange for small, predictable copays for some doctor and ER visits. A smart choice for savvy consumers.

High-Deductible Plan G

Lowest Premium

Gives you the lowest possible monthly premium. You pay a higher annual deductible before the plan begins to pay, protecting you from catastrophic costs.

*Plan F is also available if you were eligible for Medicare before January 1, 2020. We can discuss this during your review.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Medigap the same as Medicare Advantage?
No. They are very different. Medigap supplements Original Medicare, paying costs that Medicare doesn't. Medicare Advantage replaces Original Medicare with a private, network-based plan. We can help you understand the key differences.
When is the best time to buy a Medigap plan?
The best time is during your 6-month Medigap Open Enrollment Period, which starts the month you're 65 or older and enrolled in Medicare Part B. During this window, you can buy any plan without medical underwriting.
Can I keep my own doctors?
Yes. With any Medigap plan, you can see any doctor or visit any hospital in the U.S. that accepts Medicare. There are no restrictive networks or referral requirements.
What doesn't Medigap cover?
Medigap plans do not cover prescription drugs (you'll need a separate Part D plan), routine dental or vision, or long-term care.
